Douglas Council is looking for sponsorship so it can continue its events programme for 2012.
The local authority says partnerships with the private sector allow it to continue to run community events despite its budgets being under pressure.
The Council says it's committed to bringing the community together despite the economic downturn.
Proposals to sponsor a royal-themed party in celebration of the queen's diamond jubilee, a fireworks display and the switching on of the Christmas lights are invited.
More information can be obtained by contacting Douglas Town Hall, and all proposals must be submitted by the second of February.
