Three Manx residents are to receive honours from the Queen this new year.
Bolton Wanderers owner Edwin Davies is made a CBE for his charity work.
The Ballasalla resident is also a former owner of Strix, the world leading manufacturers of heating elements for kettles.
He's a regular in the Times' annual rich list.
Catherine Christian receives an MBE for services to youth in the Isle of Man.
Mrs Christian worked on the Beryl's Bus project, which continues today as the Shed, giving young people in Ramsey somewhere to go.
Justice of the Peace Elaine Christian also receives an MBE for services to the community in the field of Criminal Justice.
Mrs Christian is a founder of Victim Support Isle of Man, and has served as a justice of the peace for 27 years.
