Those looking for a bracing way to bring in 2012 have nine opportunities to take part in New Year's Day dips tomorrow.
The tradition sees crowds rushing into the sea to celebrate the new year.
The first dips takes place at midday on Douglas beach, Laxey and Peel.
The Southern Dips are held on Chapel Beach in Port St Mary at 12.45pm, in the Port St Mary Inner Harbour at 1.30pm, at Gansey at 2.15pm and on Port Erin beach at 3.00pm.
The Ramsey dip takes place at the Queens Promenade lifeboat station from 2.00pm.
And the Castletown dip is held in the town's harbour from 3.30pm.
Those taking part often wear fancy dress, with some raising money for charities on the Island.
