The Island's Financial Supervision Commission is warning of bogus emails falsely claiming to be from a company with operations in the Isle of Man.
The FSC says it's been made aware of emails claiming to be from global corporate service provider OCRA offering a job to the recipient.
The FSC believes these emails are an attempt to obtain money from the recipient or to steal their identity.
Neither OCRA Isle of Man Limited not its parent company is connected with the emails.
Anyone who received an email of such a nature is advised not to respond to it.
Anyone who has already received an email and has given money to the sender is urged to contact the police.
