Thieves in Onchan are said to have stooped to a new low, with a theft from the Garden of Remembrance at the Parish Church.
Sometime this week plants were stolen from the garden which was recently restored for this year's remembrance Sunday.
It's the latest in a string of theft from St Peter's Church Yard over the last few years.
The matters have been reported to police but the church says it's difficult to catch the person red-handed.
One of the Churchwardens Nigel Cretney is asking people to be vigilant and for the thief to look to their conscience.[play media file below]
