Rescuers have braved today's severe weather to find an injured walker on Snaefell.
The man in his twenties fell and injured his ankle.
He attempted to call the emergency services at around 2pm but his phone cut off before the operator could get his exact location.
A full-scale search was launched and an RAF helicopter was scrambled.
The man was found by Fire and Rescue and ambulance crews around an hour later and was taken to hospital
His injuries didn't appear too serious but he was suffering from hypothermia.
