Changes have been made to tomorrow's sailings following the recent spate of cancellations.
The Steam Packet Company says the Ben-my-Chree will now sail to Heysham instead of Birkenhead in order to reduce its backlog of freight.
Passengers booked to travel through Birkenhead will be given a coach transfer between Liverpool and Heysham.
Crossings have been cancelled on ten days in the last fortnight due to a combination of strong gales and storm force winds, along with a broken bow thruster on the vessel, making docking difficult in high winds.
Sailings are operating today, but this morning's left late to allow winds to die down, and there is a possibility that docking in Heysham will be delayed this lunchtime if weather conditions haven't improved.
The Ben-my-Chree is going into dry dock next weekend for repairs.
