Gale force winds are continuing to cause problems for the Steam Packet Company.
The ferry operator is warning that this evening's crossing to Heysham may be disrupted or cancelled.
Severe gale force nine winds are forecast in the Irish Sea overnight.
Ben-my-Chree sailings have been cancelled on eight of the last ten days.
As well as struggling with the winds, the vessel currently has a manoeuvrability problem caused by a broken bow thruster.
A further announcement is expected at around 5.00pm
