SPC warns passengers Ben might not be able to dock in Heysham

The Steam Packet Company is warning that this evening's crossing to Heysham might have to turn back.

The 7.45pm sailing is going ahead, despite weather conditions at the port in Heysham meaning the vessel might not be able to dock.

Passengers booked to travel are asked to bear this in mind before travelling.

If the Ben-my-Chree can't dock, it means the 2.15am crossing will be cancelled.

The operator is also warning of disruption to tomorrow's sailings.

An update regarding the 8.45am sailing and return journey at 2.15pm will be made at around 7am tomorrow.
