Cancellations and diversions for ferry sailings

Tonight's Ben my Chree sailings are cancelled for safety reasons and crossings at the weekend are set to be diverted.

The Douglas to Heysham sailing at 7.45pm and the overnight return won't operate now as an updated forecast shows deteriorating weather conditions the UK port.

The Saturday and Sunday crossings that normally serve Birkenhead have been altered because of the weather and will now serve Heysham.

Foot passengers will be transferred to Liverpool by coach.

The rough seas and a broken bow thruster have caused major disruption in the last week.

The repairs aren't due to be carried out until April.
