There's yet more warnings of disruption from the Steam Packet Company today.
After 36 hours without sailing, the Ben-my-Chree left Douglas at 7.00 this morning, with the return journey leaving Heysham over 2 hours early at midday.
The sailing was brought forward so the vessel can avoid the worst of the weather.
Winds reaching severe gale force 9 are forecast for this evening.
The operator is warning that the 7.45pm crossing to Heysham could be disrupted or cancelled later.
A further announcement will be made at around 5.00pm.
