Committee calls for public's views on petition

A Tynwald committee is asking the for members of the public to come forward with comments on its investigation.

The committee has been set up to look into the petition for redress of grievance of Joseph Rae Hamilton regarding the declaration of interest by local authority members.

The full text of the petition, and the Hansard script of the Tynwald debate which led to the committee being established is available on the Tynwald website.

The three-politician committee wants the public to share its opinions on the petition.

Those interested in sharing their views must contact the Clerk of the Committee at Legislative Buildings by January 6th next year.
