Up to seven full time staff could lose their jobs at Isle of Man Newspapers as printing looks set to be carried out off-Island.
Some casual workers would also lose their positions.
Following a review, it's proposed that the Examiner, Independent and the Courier will be printed at the parent company's site at Dinnington in Sheffield.
It would alter the times two of the papers are available.
The Examiner would go on sale first thing on Monday morning and the Independent on Thursday morning.
They will arrive on the Island on the boat along with the UK papers.
The company say it has a contingency plan in the event the boats are cancelled.
