Greater focus on litter, dog fouling and vandalism could improve the local environment on the Island.
According to a survey, spending in such areas would give the greatest improvement across the Isle of Man.
A recent study shows the environment on Manx streets is better than in the UK.
The assessment considers 32 aspects, 11 of which were deemed to be good on the Island, 7 were satisfactory, 13 unsatisfactory and 1 poor.
The Department of Infrastructure says it has held meeting with the local authorities since the results of the surveys were released, and that a framework to help improve the Island's environment is being put together
