There have been improvements in the quality of water in the Island's rivers.
That's according to a report released this week by the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture.
In the last decade, the standard of water has slipped.
Latest figures show that although the situation has improved slightly this year, it's still not back to the same level as it was several years ago.
It's thought the positive change this year may be due to the drier weather - meaning less polution has run off the land and into the rivers - and the Island being in a different phase of economic development.
