The organisers of the Manx Grand Prix have confidence in the event as the government announces it's to launch a review.
The costs, benefits and potential for future development of the MGP will all be looked at.
It's estimated over £800,000 of taxpayer's money is used to fund the event each year.
The Department of Economic Development says it's policy to ensure all government funded events are producing a reasonable return on the tax payer's money invested in them.
