Ben my Chree to divert to Heysham tomorrow

Bad weather and tidal conditions in the Mersey mean the Ben my Chree is being diverted tomorrow.

The ferry was due to leave Douglas for Birkenhead at 8am.

However, the Steam Packet is now sending it to Heysham.

Coach transfers will be provided to get people to Liverpool.

The return crossing in the afternoon is also affected and will leave Heysham at 2pm.
