A support programme for people caring for sick or disabled family members could be forced to close unless more funding is found.
St John Ambulance launched the carers' course in May this year, but this month's sessions could be the last unless more money become available.
The programme teaches people how to cope with the emotional and physical demands of caring for a loved one, as well as practical skills like first aid, fall prevention, safe handling and dealing with things such as dementia.
It cost around £15,000 a year to run.
Nurse Myrtle Dubost runs the course and says it would be a shame to see it go.[play media file below]
