Roadworks to start on Glencrutchery Road

Major roadworks are due to get underway on Glencrutchery Road in Douglas this month.

It will be refurbished from the top of Victoria Road to the entrance to Police Headquarters.

The work, which will be carried out through the evening, begins on 14th November and will take 19 weeks to complete.

One lane at a time will be closed and traffic managed by temporary traffic signals.

The road will close fully for one weekend towards the end of the scheme.

The project will see pavements reconstructed and the road stabilised and resurfaced.
