Ramsey commissioners election today

Polling is open in Ramsey for the election of a new member of the local commissioners.

The seat was left vacant when Leonard Singer was elected to the House of Keys in September.

There are two candidates standing.

Steven Bevan is a 40 year old IT consultant and is the Treasurer and Committee member of the Ramsey Chamber of Commerce.

The other candidate is Stephen Rand, who is 68 and owns a shop in St Paul's Square.

The polling station at the Town Hall is open from 8am to 8pm.
