Woman seriously hurt in accident

A woman is seriously injured after a car lost control in Douglas.

It happened at around 6 o'clock last night behind the Bowl near to the Ellan Vannin Gymnastics club.

Police have released few details, but say although the woman was seriously hurt her injuries aren't life threatening.

They think there were a large number of people in the area at the time and would like to speak to anyone who saw what happened.
