Manx politicians invited to tidal power presentation

A presentation will be given to Tynwald members tomorrow about the use of tidal power to generate electricity.

A Manx company called Ocean Energy says it's designed a system that would generate all the electrical power the Island needs from the twice daily rise and fall of the tides.

Politicians will be shown a model of the turbine equipment that's been developed.

The company says it's environmentally friendly with no noise pollution and no carbon.
