Olympic torch to arrive in TT week

The Olympic torch will be coming to the Island during TT week next year.

Details of the places it will visit in the north west have now been announced and it's confirmed that Douglas, Onchan, Laxey, Ballasalla and Castletown will be included.

The flame will arrive on the Island on 2nd June - which is the first race day - and will be carried along a short stretch of the course in a TT sidecar.

It will also be paraded on the Island's heritage railways.
