Two men who made over £100,000 through drugs crime on the Island are to have just £1200 taken off them.
Bernard Pearse Leavey is serving a 13 year prison sentence for drugs offences, along with Niel Veidman, who is in jail for 9 years.
A court was told that Leavey had £1203.61 on him when he was arrested, which will now be confiscated under proceeds of crime legislation.
Veidman will pay £1 as a nominal amount.
At a hearing, Leavey told the court he still owes his dealer £15,000 when he's released from prison.
The court judged that he made £56,408.91 as a result of criminal activity, but that only the cash in police possession can be recovered.
Veidman is calculated to have earned £49,345 through illegal means.
The men were sentenced earlier this year
