3 BIFA nominations for Manx films

Isle of Man Film and CinemaNX have received three nominations at the British Independent Film Awards.

The nominations are best documentary for TT3D Closer to the Edge, and two acting awards for recent release Albatross.

Jessica Brown-Findlay is up for Most Promising Newcomer and Felicity Jones is in the running for Best supporting actress for their roles in Albatross.

Albatross was filmed entirely on the Island in late 2009, whilst TT3D follows the 2010 TT races.

The winners are announced in December
