A first aid reminder is being issued to the Manx public as bonfire night approaches.
St John Ambulance says burns and eye injuries are the most common problems caused by Guy Fawkes night.
If debris from a bonfire gets in to the eye, water should be used to flush the dirt out, and medical advice sought if it still feels uncomfortable.
For burns, Phil Bennett from St John Ambulance, recommends running the burn under water for 10 minutes [play clip]
