Two people hurt in crash

Police are appealing for witnesses to a crash that left two people in hospital.

It happened at around 2.40pm yesterday at the Mountain Mile and involved a blue Peugeot car and a white van.

One driver has serious leg injuries and the other has a head injury.

Fire crews had to cut one of the injured people from the wreckage.

Police want to speak to anyone who saw the crash, including a number of people who initially stopped at he scene.

Witnesses are asked to call either Ramsey Police Station or Douglas Headquarters.
