The number of people being issued with a work permit on the Isle of Man has fallen over the last two years.
As of last week, there were under 6000 people with the permit, compared with almost 10,000 in the 2008 to 2009 financial year.
The construction sector has the highest number of none Manx workers, followed by the health profession.
The figures were revealed in a House of Keys written answer following a question from South Douglas MHK Kate Beecroft
