As bonfire night approaches, the Manx public is being reminded of firework safety.
The Isle of Man Office of Fair Trading says children and fireworks are a dangerous mix.
Only over 18s can buy fireworks.
Police and Fire officers will be visiting the Island's schools to speak to pupils and highlight the dangers of fireworks.
Fireworks can be let off on the Island from next Friday until November 6th without prior permission from the Department of Home Affairs.
Anyone looking to hold a display outside those dates must notify the DHA at least 21 days in advance.
