Cash stolen from open window in broad daylight

Police are investigating after a substantial amount of cash was stolen from a building on Lord Street in Douglas.

The burglary took place at Monday lunchtime at around 1.30, near to the junction with Athol Street.

Two men have been seen to help each other reach in through an open ground floor window before making off towards Athol Street.

Anyone with information on this theft is asked to contact Police Headquarters.
