The Treasury says new laws brought in earlier this week will allow the Island's financial industry to grow and develop.
The Limited Partnership (Legal Personality) Act was given Royal Assent on Tuesday.
The new legislation allows companies to adopt a legal personality separate from the partners of the company.
The Treasury says it's committed to helping the finance industry, and that this is the first of a number of initiatives due to be brought in over the next couple of years.
