Party calls for Tax Commission to be set up

The Liberal Vannin Party is calling for the Government to set up a Tax Commission on the Island.

The move comes after Tynwald confirmed it will be abolishing the Attribution Regime for Individuals from next April.

The Party says it supports the Government over this move, but that a Commission should be formed to look into options for the future.

Tynwald supported getting rid of the system unanimously yesterday.
