Crash inquest adjourned

An inquest into the death of an Onchan man who died six weeks after he was involved in a car crash has been adjourned.

21 year old Christopher Heaney was in an accident near to the Creg ny Baa on 3rd September.

He passed away in Noble's Hospital on Sunday after initially being flown to the UK for treatment.

Police investigations into the crash continue and the inquest will resume at a later date.

Mr Heaney's mum has paid tribute to her son saying he loved his job as a car valet and will be missed by all his family and friends.

Miss Heaney has also expressed her thanks to all of the emergency services and members of the public who helped at the accident scene.
