New Minister looks forward to working in CoMin

An MHK taking up his first Ministerial role says he's looking forward to working with the new Chief Minister.

Tim Crookall has been put in charge of the Department of Community, Culture and Leisure by Allan Bell.

Mr Bell revealed his Council of Ministers yesterday, with Juan Watterson, Chris Robertshaw and Peter Karran also being given Ministerial roles for the first time.

The DCCL was previously run by David Cretney, who moves to Infrastructure.

It's been a tough last year for the Department, with criticism over the new bus timetable, and redundancies for railway workers.
