Next phase of work on Victoria Road set to begin

The next phase of work on Victoria Road in Douglas gets underway on Monday.

The road is to be resurfaced between the Shoprite Roundabout and the junction with Glencrutchery Road.

Temporary traffic lights will manage traffic during the day, and overnight the road will be closed.

The Department of Infrastructure says there will also need to be weekend closures.

It's expected the road will be shut next weekend and the following Saturday and Sunday, although these works are weather dependant.

It's expected the works will be finished on October 30th.
