Those in high risk categories are being urged to make sure they get their flu jab this year.
The Department of Health wants those at risk of developing complications from influenza to have this year's vaccination.
The annual injection protects against the three most common flu viruses, and is updated every year.
Pregnant women have been added to the list of those considered at risk for the second year.
Those who need the vaccine are being urged to contact their GP as soon as possible, as there was a shortage last year with so many people leaving it late to get the jab.
The vaccine is believed to be between 70% and 80% effective
