Onchan residents are being urged to keep recycling their waste, despite the kerbside recycling scheme coming to an end there at the end of the month.
The Commissioners want residents to take their recyclable rubbish to bring-banks or the civic amenity sites instead.
The town is withdrawing from kerbside collections after a three year trial, believing it isn't the most cost effective method of recycling.
Three new recycling sites are being set up at Sea Cliff Road, Onchan Park and Maple Avenue to encourage residents to continue recycling.
Bottles, cans and paper can be taken to the bring-banks, whilst plastics can be recycled at civic amenity centres
