The newly elected Members of the House of Keys will be sworn in today.
The 24 members will take their oaths in front of the First Deemster from 11.30 this morning.
This afternoon, members will chose a Speaker to oversee their proceedings.
During the last Government, Garff MHK Steve Rodan took the post of Speaker.
Today also sees the deadline for Chief Minister nominations.
Politicians must put forward names for the top job by 5.00pm.
By Thursday, those nominated will outline their policies, with the election of the Chief Minister taking place next Tuesday.
