Manx students are being invited to take part in a competition which could see them presenting their idea in NASA's Research Centre.
It's the second time students from the Isle of Man have been asked to enter the Spirit of Innovation Awards run by the Conrad Foundation.
Teams of between two and five 13 to 18 year olds must come up with design and development plans for products to solve 21st century problems.
The groups which have the best ideas will travel to the Ames Research Centre in California in March next year.
Last year saw groups from three of the Island's secondary schools and the college travel to the USA for the awards.
A member of the Conrad Foundation will be speaking to students on the Island about the awards throughout this week
