Around 9,000 square metres of plantation will be felled after diseased trees were discovered.
Phytophthora is a pathogen which can kill or damage a range of trees and plants.
It's been discovered at two plantations - Colden in Baldwin and in Ballaugh.
The affected areas have been closed off to the public.
It's likely they'll be shut until around April next year.
