Next week will see events taking place across the Island to raise awareness of scams.
The Isle of Man Office of Fair Trading says scams are the most common concern raised by Manx residents.
The week will include talks to charities, community groups and Government officials to help raise awareness of scams, and how to spot them.
The week is being supported by the police.
Postboxes are also being set up around the Island for concerned residents to post scam mail that they've received so that the OFT can see how big the problem is on the Island.
The boxes are at the OFT's offices, Town Halls in Douglas, Peel, Ramsey and Castletown, and in the Castletown Civic Centre
