Polling stations across the Island are expecting a rush of voters coming through the doors.
People have until 8pm to choose who they think should represent their constituencies in the House of Keys for the next five years.
Every constituency is contested this time round and there'll be at least tow new MHKs when members are sworn in on 4th October.
Nominations will be taken for the Island's new Chief Minister on that date too.
More than 8,000 new voters have registered since the 2006 elections.
However, this teller in Douglas east says the turn out there hasn't been great.[play media file below]
