Another rally event will be held at the end of next month, following the cancellation of Rally Isle of Man.
It was called off after the government asked for it to be moved from the summer to the last weekend of October - this caused a number of problems for organisers.
A statement released by the Department of Infrastructure says it's been working with the Department of Economic Development and Manx Auto Sport Ltd to put on another rally.
It's claimed it was in response to requests from drivers and officials from on and off-island.
The rally will essentially be a club level event and isn't part of a series.
Minister Phil Gawne explains his department's involvement.[Play media file below]
