Ben my Chree repairs postponed

Repairs to the Ben my Chree won't go ahead as planned next week.

The ferry was due to go into dry dock on 30th September for three days.

The boat's bow thrusters have been damaged by floating debris.

The work has now been put off after the manufacturer said it couldn't do the work within the agreed dates.

Manannan will still carry out daytime Heysham sailings next weekend.

The Ben my Chree will be available for additional overnight passenger and freight services.

The repair work hasn't yet been rescheduled.
