It's likely to take until 10 o'clock tonight to fix a damaged pipe that's left hundreds of homes without proper water supplies.
The burst main is at Snugborough Trading Estate and it's affecting properties in Farmhill, Glen Vine, Anagh Coar and Crosby.
Ballacottier school had to close earlier as a lack of flushing toilets wasn't thought to be in the best interests of pupil's health and safety.
Water has been temporarily diverted from a different pipeline to supply properties, but the water pressure is much less.
Emergency water tanks for the public to use have been placed at the lay-by on the Main Road in Crosby, at the Horse and Plough Car Park, Ballacottier school and Marown Primary School.
People are advised to boil the water they take from the emergency bowsers.
