All ferries cancelled today

All of today's ferry sailings have now been cancelled due to the severe gales.

Both the Manannan and the Ben my Chree are unable to sail in the rough seas.

The Steam Packet says disruptions are possible for tomorrow's Liverpool Sailings.

At the moment, the Heysham crossings from 8.45am onwards are due to run as scheduled.

It's likely to cause issues for hundreds of Commonwealth Youth Games visitors.

Extra sailings were scheduled to give extra capacity during the games.

People should contact the Steam Packet to make alternative travel arrangements.
