A Liberal Vannin election candidate says he wouldn't let the Party's policies get in the way of helping a constituent.
Chris Thomas is the Party's candidate for Douglas West, and its spokesman for economy and business.
Amongst the Party's priorities are cutting the number of political members in Government departments, and making Tynwald members contribute towards their pensions.
