Wins for Farquhar and Davidson in Classic

Ryan Farquhar has taken a win in the Classic Grand Prix this morning.

The Snaefell Mountain Course veteran was quickest on the 350cc bikes, with Chris Palmer second and Roy Richardson in third

On the 250cc machines, Barry Davidson took the win, ahead of Peter Wakefield in 2nd and Maria Costello in 3rd

The four lap Classic Grand Prix got underway at 10.15 this morning.

The Junior Manx Grand Prix also takes place today. It's scheduled to get underway at 1.15.

After that there'll be a practice for all classes except the newcomers, and 350cc and 250cc bikes.

Roads will remain closed until after the practice session, which is due to finish around 4.30.

In the event of any delays, the course can stay shut until nine o clock this evening.
