Finance chiefs from 21 different countries will meet on the Island over the coming days.
The Small Countries Financial Management Programme is being held on the Island at the International Business School.
Representatives from finance ministries, banks and regulatory bodies will be taking part in the event.
The scheme aims to help smaller countries work together on their own problems, as well as meeting the demands of larger countries.
It's the third year the Programme has met, and will spend nine days at the IBS, followed by four days at Oxford University.
