The Steam Packet Company says a technical problem which resulted in reduced power on last night's sailing from Liverpool won't affect today's crossings.
A statement from the operator says Manannan suffered a technical issue whilst on its way to the Island yesterday evening, meaning it was severely delayed arriving in Douglas.
The problem was fixed during the sailing, and today's crossings are expected to operate as previously scheduled.
The fastcraft is already taking longer than usual for its journeys due to a gearbox problem, meaning it can only run on three engines.
The Steam Packet is still waiting for repairs to the gearbox to be completed, and will issue an update when it's fixed.
